Aiesha Abel

Aiesha grew up with a strong respect for the earth.  Surrounded by organic gardens and natural vegetation, her increasing interest in nature led her to the field of natural cosmetics and the healing properties of plants.  In her quest to learn more about medicinal plants she researched Chinese medicine where she discovered her  passion for acupuncture.  She was accepted to NYC’s renowned Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.  The rigorous program gave her a strong foundation in acupuncture and  medicinal herbs as well as a basic background in Western medicine.

Aiesha is also an avid sportswoman and a former certified personal trainer. She believes that fitness builds discipline, increases focus and boosts self esteem and inner strength.  Her personal motto is:  “nurture the body and the mind will follow; nurture the mind and the body will follow.”   Given her love of fitness, she has a large clientele that includes dancers and athletes.

Aiesha believes that her undergraduate studies in psychology at Barnard College further enhance her treatments.  She is quite well versed in helping those with emotional imbalances including stress, anxiety and depression.   In fact, one of her more popular treatments for mind-body harmony includes a combination of acupuncture, aromatherapy, and massage.

Due to Aiesha’s upbringing, personal interests, and rigorous academic training she has blossomed into a powerful healer. She feels blessed to have been given the opportunity to help others.  The balance of mind, body and spirit is truly a path to which she has devoted her life.
